QUOTATION FOR HIRING OF VEHICLES

SUB: Hiring of Commercial vehicles for inspection/ official duties from                        25.09.2006 to 03.03.2007

The rates quotations are invited in the enclosed form in sealed cover from the interested parties on the prescribed performa available from Room no. 14, CEP Cell, Dte of Education, GNCT of Delhi, Old Sectt, Delhi

Terms and Conditions of the contract are as under:

1.The dead mileage in any case should not be more than two kms per day.

2. Only commercial vehicles number plated DL 1T, DL 1Y, DL 1Z, DL 1V with shall be engaged and the vehicles should not be older than three years on award of contract.

3.The vendor should be able to provide minimum 15 vehicles everyday.

4.The owner of vehicles will be responsible for pollution norms/ insurance cover/ Traffic challans in force in Delhi during the period of contract.

5PAN number and Service Tax No. of FIRM should be mentioned on the quotation of rates submitted by owners.

6.The rates should be quoted keeping in view of the increase/ decrease in fare/ charges/ price of CNG/ Diesel and other incidental/ unforeseen charges. No further changes in rates shall be conducted during the period of contract.

7.The rates quoted will be applicable from the date of award of contract from 25.09.2006 to 03.03.2007.

8.The right to extend/ curtail the period rest with Director of Education, GNCT of Delhi.

9. The vendor should deposit an Earnest Money of Rs 5000/- in the form of Demand Draft in the favor of Director of Education, GNCT of Delhi, enclosed with completely filled prescribed performa.

10.The penalty will be charge in case, there is disruption of services. The disruption along with the penalty amount that would be charged is given below:

11. In case of any dispute regarding service/ equipments the decision of Director of Education shall be final.        

The sealed quotation in the prescribed form shall be received by 20.09.2006 at 1.00 pm and will be opened on 20.09.2006 at 4.00 pm.
