DIRECTOR OF PROSECUTION  -

Sh. Gude Venkateswara Rao, Director of Prosecution, Govt. of NCT of Delhi has completed his LL.B in December 1987 from Nagarjuna University (Andhra Pradesh).  He was enrolled as an Advocate to practice from Bar Council of the State of Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad in 1988 and thereafter had practiced as an Advocate in the Courts at Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) from 1988 to February 1992.  He has also completed his LL.M from Nagarjuna University in February 1991.

He has joined the Directorate of Prosecution, Govt. of NCT of Delhi as Assistant Public Prosecutor in July 1994.

In January 1998, he was promoted to the post of Additional Public Prosecutor and had worked as faculty in the Police Training College, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi, for imparting training to various rank of Police officers including DANIPS & IPS officers as well.

He was promoted to the post of Chief Prosecutor in June 2014 and had worked as Public Prosecutor/Chief Prosecutor at Tis Hazari Courts Complex, Delhi as well as Incharge of Dwarka Courts Complex, New Delhi.
