CRITERIA FOR CALCULATING PERCENTAGE OF MARKS WILL BE AS  UNDER:

     
  1. For 10th class examination CBSE awarded  grade:- The aggregate percentage calculate  Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) multiply by 9.5 (for CBSE Candidates  Only). Provided full fills be requisite subject conditions.CGPA*9.5=%age of marks secured by a candidate.
    If, the candidates are having the same CGPA, then the candidate  having Date of Birth earlier or older may be placed above the younger one in  order.

  3. For 10th class examination marks obtained:- The aggregate percentage of marks of all the subjects including  optional subjects shall be taken into account provided the candidate fulfils  the requisite subject conditions.  Higher  qualification of 12th class my also be considered for the  preparation of merit list if the candidate satisfies the requisite eligibility  condition of subject in higher examination.

  5. For 12th class examination based courses:- The aggregate percentage of marks of all the subjects including  optional subjects shall be taken into account provided the candidate fulfils  the requisite subject conditions.

  7. Calculation of Percentage for Secretarial Practice and  Stenography trades would be as under :- To  calculate, the percentage of marks of English/Hindi obtained in the 12th/intermediate/subsequent  board/University examination and to take that percentage as the basis of the  merit and to add the marks of higher qualification (provided the candidate has  English/Hindi as a subject)as indicated below:

  9. BA/B.Com/B.Sc/Prabhakear  (for stenography Hindi only)

1st Division                  15  marks
  2st Division                  13  marks
  3st Division                  11  marks

       
    • For Post  Graduate qualification                          5  Marks extra to be added.

    •  
    • Where admission qualification is 7th  (Wherever applicable)/8th class pass, the higher aggregate  percentage of marks obtained in 7th (wherever applicable)/8th  class or any of the subsequent examinations shall be considered for preparing  the merit.
    •  
    • Where the  admission qualification is 10th, the higher percentage of marks  obtained in 10th or any of the subsequent Board/University  examination shall be considered for preparing the merit list provided the  candidate statisfies the subject criteria in higher examination.
    •  
    • Where the  admission qualification is under vocational stream, then the Weightage of 10%  of the marks secured by the candidate in the vocational subject or 10% of the  average marks secured in the vocational subjects may be added to the total  percentage of the marks secured by him/her.
